Blogger Round Up Reminder

Hi girls, I've been kind slacking in the Blogger Round Up department, haven't I?  I keep meaning to create a Round Up post, but by the time I remember it's near a Friday, and, as I want to give a week between the reminder post and the round up post, I always put it off until the next week.  I've been doing this for a month now.  :\

So, in an effort to break this cycle, I've decided to do a quick 2 day reminder and then post the latest installment of the Blogger Round Ups on this coming Friday, 5/25/2012.

Blogger Round Up Reminder

Sorry for being MIA this week.  It's been banana-crackers crazy and I really haven't had a chance to think, much less sit down and paint my nails.  Hopefully, things will get less hectic from here.

Anyway, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I planned on posting another Blogger Round Up post tomorrow.  However, as I forgot to create a reminder post, I'm going to postpone it until Friday, 4/6/2012.

So, if you would like to be mentioned in my next Blogger Round Up, and you have yet to respond in a previous post or email me, please reply to this post with your blog URL.

Blog Roll Maintenance and Blogger Round Ups

A few days ago, I looked at my blog roll and realized that many of the blogs on there are no longer live or haven't been updated in awhile.  Now, I realize I'm the last person to say something about someone not updating a blog and I completely realize that life gets in the way, but I still wanted to take some time to clean up my blog roll.  I want to delete older, inactive blogs and list newer blogs that never made it to my list before my hiatus.  Over the next week, I will be checking all of the blogs listed in my blog roll and any blog that hasn't been updated in 6 months will be taken off my blog roll.

I am mentioning this because I think it gives me the perfect opportunity to list some of the new blogs.  If you have a blog or a blog that is not currently on my blog roll, and you would like to be listed in my blog roll, please reply to this post and I will be more than happy to list your blog when I am in the process of cleaning up the list.

Also, I wanted to mention that I will be planning on restarting the Blogger Round Ups.  There are so many new blogs out there that I want to do these again to help as many new bloggers as I can.  For now, if you would like to be in the Blogger Round Up, simply reply to this post.  When I add you to my blog roll, I will also create a Blogger Round Up post.  The next Round Up post will be on Friday, 3/9/2012.

Going forward, I will reopen my Blogger Round Up form.  Once I start the round ups, I will begin using information gathered from that form for any new participant.

Friday Blogger Round Up

So, it's Thursday in the US, but I know it's Friday for some of you girls, so this is in your honor.  :P

I know I have been quite lax in the Blogger Round Up department, so over the next few weeks, I hope to get caught up.  This first batch of blogs are the bloggers that filled out my Blogger Round Up form.  Next, I will be working on getting all the bloggers that asked to be in my Round Ups off of my giveaway form.

Additionally, I went back through the list and followed all the blogs if you had the option on your blog.  I am also going to add these blogs to by blogroll.  A few of the links were dead links, so I marked through those in the list.  If your blog happens to be one of the dead links and it's an active blog, please let me know and I will correct it.

Blogger Round Ups

Hey girls... I just wanted to give you a quick little update regarding the round ups.

I have added a "Round Up" tab to the top of the page.  On that page, you will find general information about the round-ups, as well as a form to fill out if you'd like to be included in my next one.

Also, in my giveaway form, I have asked people to include their blog URL if they'd like to be listed in my round-up.  As of about 6 hrs ago, I had almost 300 entrants with maybe 40% of them requesting to be in the round-up.  That's no problem.  In fact... I love it.  Just keep in mind that the round-up may be delayed because of this.

I hope to have the next round up live by April 1.  For this next round up, it will consist of those of you that have emailed me, those that have responded in a comment, those that have requested to be included via my giveaway form and those that fill out my new swanky form.  Due to the high volume of requests, I probably won't send out emails letting you know that you are included (something I've mentioned on the form). 

Also, depending on just how many I have, I may or may not break it up into multiple posts.  A lot of blogs to list is fantastic, but after so many they all run together, especially for someone reading the post, if you KWIM.  :)

Keep up the requesting, btw.  Just because I have lots already doesn't mean that more aren't welcome.  :)

Friday Blogger Round-Up #4

I know, I know, it's Saturday, but yesterday was the first day of school for my boy child, and he was more than a little bit excited.  He was up at 4am because he wanted to wear his new shoes.  LOL.  Sad thing was, I was having a usual bout of insomnia Thursday night/Friday morning, so I wasn't able to fall asleep until after he decided he wanted to be awake.  Plus, I had to get up at 6:30, so I was pretty much a zombie all day.  I was doing to good to remember to breathe.  :P
